My personal opinion as a native New Yorker is that Winter is the worst time to visit the city. New Yorkers are shrowded in black, they keep their heads down, and their extremities guarded. Yet as our skyline becomes swathed in color from the fall foliage, and we begin to think the warm glow of summer was just a dream a different glow spreads across the city. An imported forest of BIG evergreen trees pops up all over NYC. Simple Luxury | Fall tailgating picnic
I was so excited when I was approached by Zipcar to write a post and receive some drivetime, it gave me an opportunity to get grounded by hitting the road in NYC. I was able to enjoy the simple luxury of a morning alone before school pickup by having a fall tailgating picnic alone, to honor my mom. My mother was born on the tropical island of Jamaica, with its incessantly lush green landscape, when she came to America she was instantly smitten with the new to her season of Fall and all it had to offer.
