ABOUT
Yellow there!
My name is Sunshine, I’m an ochre obssesed mom of two tiny global citizens. Welcome to African Boheme, the place where I document my sustainable journeys through motherhood and around Mother Earth.
My family practice something I like to call “Sunkissed Sustainability” a series of thoughtful, sustainable choices that allow us the luxury of finding joy in everyday simplicities. We strive to live a low waste life, but when we have the luxury of adding a new sustainable piece, our purchases are earthtone objects with “green” sensibilities.
My curated earth tone aesthtic is one of the simple ways I infuse my life with luxury while making sustainable choices. By honing in on a color story that works I can focus on purchasing meaniningful useful things and dont run the risk of following “trends” or “seasons”
When I’m not creating content for African Boheme, or being bossed around by my pint-sized best friends, I can be found making tribal art, inspired learning tools for toddlers and their families at Polyglot Tot.
